MAKE MOM EPIC #WITHGALAXY

Remember all the times mom was the one capturing all the memories for the family? Well it’s about time we all put mom in the picture. For Mother’s Day, Samsung asked us to come up with a fun social activation celebrating moms while touting the new Galaxy S21’s features and launching off the brand’s Make Everyday Epic platform.

Inspired by Missy Elliott’s song, Mommy, we created a TikTok challenge called Make Mom Epic #withGalaxy that gave people the opportunity to show off how bad ass their moms really are. We recruited high profile TikTok influencers from all over the world to film their mom in all her epic glory while lip syncing to the song’s lyrics. And in the weeks leading up to Mother’s Day, our influencers challenged their audiences to submit their own epic videos of their mom. The result? A global celebration of moms all over the world that got 12.4 billion views and a surprise appearance by BTS. Netflix even wanted to get in on the action. How epic is that?
